Powered by a 265hp VW turbo diesel engine (200kg lighter than most comparable engines), the hull speed to hull length ratio is greater than our semi-displacement models so the hull form features some departures from our other models...
- Epoxy/carbon fibre/foam composite hull for a superior strength for weight build
- Fine entry bow with deeper V aft sections to give retain the DALE hallmark of a smooth ride at higher speeds through choppy seas
- Sharper chines for superior planing performance
- Although not normally seen on this class of boat, a keel has been retained to maximise directional stability, although it has been much reduced in order to maintain lateral stability at higher speeds.
