Oh what a show!
The 2008 Southampton Boat show has got off to a great start for DALE. There has been a huge amount of interest in the new C65 and we already have 4 clients taking full advantage of our entirely bespoke build process and working with us on designs for their own perfect boats.
The press have been equally enthusiastic about our latest model with particular comments on the value of the DALE hand-crafted quality.
The DALE Classic 45 on display at the show ('Vita' as featured in the Autumn issue of our newsletter) has also been the subject of a lot of interest. Sea trials have been booked in the Solent immediately after the show, with further bookings for sea trials on both the Classic 45 and the Nelson 38 back in Pembrokeshire. We look forward to welcoming new owners to the DALE fold in the near future.
Press interest in the 45 has also been high - watch out for forthcoming boat tests in Motor Boats Monthly and Boat International - the latter taking place on 'Moth' in Antibes.
There has also been interest in the pre-owned boats currently on brokerage with DALE, and 'Isla' (DALE Nelson 38) is coming back to Neyland for sea trials with prospective new owners.
And just to make sure the DALE show team doesn't have a chance to catch their breath, there's been plenty of partying in the evenings - some partying harder than others - mentioning no names (who said Mike?).
